How do I look after my steel board?
Simply wash with warm water and mild dish soap after use, or just chuck it in the dishwasher! Unlike wood boards, our stainless steel boards do not require heavy maintenance or oiling after each use.
It's normal to see superficial scratch marks on your board after use.
These are light surface scratches that naturally occur when cutting or chopping on stainless steel and are purely cosmetic. They do not affect the integrity, safety, or performance of your board in any way. Stainless steel is highly durable and non-porous, meaning it won’t harbor bacteria, absorb odors, or leech metal particles into your food—even with visible surface wear.
